What is ANGEL Learning?
The ANGEL Learning Management System (LMS) is a type of software designed to deliver instructional material online. It acts like a virtual classroom, where you can take tests, submit assignments, and access course material- just like you would in a traditional classroom. The ANGEL LMS is used by schools, community colleges, and universities to create Virtual Learning Environments for online learning and to offer blended (web-enhanced) classes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I log into ANGEL
Once you’ve received your ANGEL username and password, click on the following address link (or enter the address into your browser’s address bar) http://orioncollege.angellearning.com/default.asp – This is the Orion College ANGEL login page. Here, you can enter your username and password to login to ANGEL. You can also access the ANGEL login page by visiting the Login section of Orion College’s website and choosing the ANGEL login option.
What do I need to log into ANGEL?
You’ll need your ANGEL username and password. These are provided in the orientation letter sent to you by your admissions representative. If you’ve forgotten or misplaced this information, please contact your academic adviser for assistance.
When can I log into My ANGEL Classroom?
Generally, your username and password for ANGEL will become active within 72 hours of receiving confirmation of enrollment with Orion College. You can login at that point, but your course (your virtual classroom) will not be accessible until the Saturday before that course is scheduled to begin. New students enrolled in the Orientation Course will have access to that class immediately. If you are unsure of your course dates, contact your academic adviser.
What is my username in ANGEL? My password?
Your Username in ANGEL is always your OC student ID number. Your default password is your last name (all lowercase) and the last four digits of your social security number (Example: smith1234). Once you have logged into ANGEL, you can change your password by clicking on the My Preferences button to the left of the homepage and choosing “Change Password”.
Where do I locate my class in ANGEL?
From the Home screen in ANGEL (accessible via the “home” icon on the top left), look in the Courses nugget. Here, you will find a link to whichever active class you are currently enrolled in.
My class does not appear in ANGEL, what do I do?
If a course is missing, please make sure you are properly registered for this course by accessing your Student Record in the Student Portal. If the course is not on your class schedule, you might have been dropped from the class. Please contact your academic adviser, the registrar’s office and your instructor immediately.
Will my courses in ANGEL remain open after the semester ends?
No, courses in ANGEL are closed the first Sunday after the last day of class.
Why am I unable to log into ANGEL/Receiving an Access Denied error message?
First, make sure you are entering your username and password correctly. Second, that Caps Lock is not enabled on your keyboard, as passwords are case sensitive. You may need to clear your web browser’s “cache”- a simple process which removes outdated authentication information from your computer. If you are unsure how to do this, try Wikihow’s 13 Ways to Clear Your Browser’s Cache, a tutorial for various browsers. If you are still receiving an error/unable to log in, you may have been dismissed from a program or course, and should contact your academic advisor or registrar immediately.
