Orion College is committed to the education of military members and their spouses. We’re an approved school for the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program. With MyCAA, military spouses can receive financial assistance for Diploma Programs or Associates Degrees necessary for gainful employment in high demand, high growth portable career fields.

How Does MyCAA Work?
Military spouses can request MyCAA Financial Assistance (FA). Prior to requesting MyCAA Financial Assistance, military spouses are required to develop an Education and Training (E&T) Plan and upload it to their MyCAA account for approval by a MyCAA Career and Education Consultant.

What Does MyCAA Provide?
Training and Education Financial Assistance Eligible military spouses are now able to receive up to $6,000 of MyCAA Financial Assistance (FA) that can help them pursue education, training, licenses, certificates and degrees leading to employment in Portable Career Fields. Employment Readiness Counseling
Preparing to enter the job market includes exploring Portable Careers, learning about current job market conditions, finding child care, successfully relocating to new communities and balancing the demands of military life. Military spouses can find support by going online, calling Military OneSource (1-800-342-9647) and using community and installation resources.
How to Get Started
You can establish a MyCAA account by visiting the MyCAA website. Once your profile information is provided, MyCAA will verify eligibility through a real-time DEERS eligibly check. If you are eligible, you can create your Career and Training Plan and request Financial Assistance when you are within 90 days of your course start date.
